The Polycom VTX 1000 is the world’s first conference phone that auto adapts to each meeting environment, providing high fidelity voice clarity for all callers. When two Polycom SoundStation conference phones connect on opposite ends of a call, the phones automatically connect in Wide band Audio mode, resulting in extraordinary fidelity in the call audio quality.
A conference phone is a single unit, sometimes with extra mics, built to operate in an open area. A conference phone supports voice comms for the whole room and all the people in it. Although conference phones are as easy to use as any other phone, today’s models are complex communication tools. High quality phones include an array of digital signalling and echo cancel tech; to reproduce the voices of the callers clearly in spite of room noise, echo, computer and over head fans, side conversations and any number of sound challenges that occur during the average meeting.
The Polycom SoundStation VTX1000 is an advanced conference phone and has a large back lit LCD display. The versatile structure allows all meeting participants to speak and be heard in high definition. Integrated mics provide powerful 360 degree, 6 meter pick up so callers can speak without having to raise their voices. DNR removes unwanted background noise while Acoustic Clarity provide outstanding audio and full duplex allows for two conversations to flow without voice distortion.
